I just finished reading Tim Ferris’ book, and wanted to share with you The 4 Hour Work Week review.
First of all, I believe this book is an absolute MUST read for anybody who currently has a 9-5 job. I couldn’t relate to the first chapters, because I simply don’t have one.
But if you have a regular job, it’ll be extremely beneficial to dig into the book, because you’ll learn pretty much how to fire your boss and quit your job.
IF you are an entrepreneur, you’ll find some of the most incredible resources for your business (and not only). If you also wanna travel around the world, Tim recommends some really great tools and websites that you can use right away. I’d totally keep the book handy, and read it multiple times.
Here are a couple awesome quotes from the book that you may wanna share:
“SOMEDAY” is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you! (Click to Tweet)
Money doesn’t change you; it reveals who you are when you no longer have to be nice. (Click to Tweet)
A person’s success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have. (Click to Tweet)
Focus on being productive instead of busy. (Click to Tweet)
Pareto’s Law can be summarized as follows: 80% of the outputs result from 20% of the inputs. (Click to Tweet)
There are things that I agree with in the 4 Hour Work Week, and things that I don’t agree with. Now, don’t get me wrong, the book is seriously incredible and I understand why it has such great feedback from other readers.
I usually have an opinion for everything, and in the video below I talk about some of the stuff that I disagree with, and WHY you really need to read this book!

Really interesting review Jelena … i love my work anyway, so i don’t mind working more than 4 hours … and i absolutely love this quote you pulled out: “Focus on being productive instead of busy”
That’s what I’m talking about Tracey! When you love what you do – it’s not even work! 🙂
At a certain point we stop doing it and start BEING it. Then we don’t count the hours…we’re having too much fun. 🙂 Thanks, Jelena.
Yess Larry!! Totally agree! When you love what you do, you don’t even count it as working hours!
