4 Steps to a Basic Sales Funnel

Have you ever wondered – how do you create a basic funnel that’s going to “suck in” leads and sales for your business.

When it comes to creating sales funnels, you can create some absolutely crrrrazy stuff! I’ve seen some of the most advanced funnels.

You don’t have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out all the advanced stuff. But if you wanna create a basic sales funnel, then in this post I’m going to share 4 core steps of every funnel you need to know.

The very first step of every basic sales funnel is a capture page. It’s not the page where you sell something straight away. Doesn’t work like that. You have to first generate a lead. On the capture page you should have a basic form with name, email fields, and in some cases a phone field, if you intend to call your leads (highly recommended). On the right hand side of this blog you can see several banners, and if you click on them, you’ll be redirected to a capture page.

But how would people give you their contact information? Pretty simple. You create or leverage some sort of giveaway. It can be a free ebook, a cheat sheet, a report, a video series, a quick video training. Anything that solves a specific problem is going to be valuable for your prospect.     The trick thus is to Pre-frame your paid offer immediately they sign up, part of the thank you page!
