The reason traffic is important for you is if you’re creating high quality content, but nobody sees it, what’s the point?

Your goal of videos or any type of content is to get attention and to generate leads that eventually can be turned into sales aka business partners, clients and customers.

Today I’m gonna share 7 simple ways to help you optimize YouTube videos (you don’t need to be an SEO wizard to get it done).

Before you even record your video, you gotta know what you’re gonna talking about. I highly recommend to write down some content ideas, maybe even some key points that you wanna cover (to make sure you don’t forget anything). This is a big time saver, especially if you record several videos at once.

You gotta do some keyword research prior to recording a video (I’m guilty of not doing it every time). This will definitely help if you have a specific topic or a specific keyword that you wanna rank your YouTube video for. Then the fun begins!

1.Save Your Video File as Keyword. Or a title (that’s what I do, and it works too). So if you want to rank for a keyword “MLM training”, then make sure you include that keyword inside the title of your video in your video file. I used to think that’s not important. But whenever you upload a video to YouTube, you’ll see your actual title. Mini time saver too, so that you don’t have to enter your title all over again inside of YouTube.

2.Include Your Keyword in the Title. Already mentioned that, but it’s kinda obvious that you HAVE to include the keyword that you wanna rank for inside the title. Make sure you don’t forget to do that.

3.Make the Title Clear. That’s one of the absolute keys. Why? When people are on YouTube, they’re looking for specific information. So if you said, you were gonna share 7 ways to optimize YouTube videos, make sure you deliver on that information in the video. The more clear your title is, the more targeted traffic you’ll get on your videos. You don’t need EVERYBODY watching your videos.
