Would you like to create a profitable online business? But feel like it’s too difficult.
You’re right to some extent – obviously, building a business it not easy, otherwise everyone would do it. However, it can be simple if you know the process and the action you need to be taking.
I used to struggle for a long time, not knowing what to do. And even when I knew what to do, I still didn’t do it, because I was overwhelmed with tons of information.
In this post you’re about to learn the exact process that only contains 6 steps to building a profitable online business. This works even if you’re brand new.
Step #1: Your Vision and Personal Development Strategy
Your vision is where you’re going, who do you want to become, what kind of person do you need to grow into in order to attain your goals? It is something you have to be constantly working on, you will always be adding to it, and correcting the course as you grow as an entrepreneur (and a person). You may wanna put together a vision board if you’re a visual person. Make sure you have your goals crystal clear, but again – you will make adjustments along the way.
When it comes to personal development, you must have a strategy on how you’re actually going to grow every single day, and every single week (and every month too). I personally I buy a LOT of different books, marketing courses, and I set a budget every month specifically for personal development. Why? If you don’t grow as a leader, don’t expect to create a profitable online business. As simple as that.
Step #2: Your Target Market & Personal Development Strategy
Here’s the reason why you gotta have more clarity in this area – if you try to attract everybody, eventually you will attract nobody. It took me quite a while to really understand this idea. I used to try to recruit every single person that’s breathing. However, you do need to be quite picky and work only with people that you’d enjoy working with. Let’s face it – there’s a good chance you will be meeting them at live events and conventions. Would you wanna hang out with them? Let that sink in for a moment.
And that’s the beauty of the home business profession is that you get to choose who you want to work with. I don’t want to work with everybody. If somebody is a tyre-kicker, is not able to make decisions or just likes making excuses, I don’t want to work with that kind of person and, trust me, you don’t either.
Make sure you get clear on what kind of person that is, what’s their age, is it man or woman, are they married or single, have kids or not. It is 100% up to you how specific you want to get with it. There’s a good chance that your target market is gonna be similar to you. When you know your audience you can get more clear on your overall branding. And this is the next step to building a profitable online business.
Step #3: Monetization Strategy
This is obviously how you’re going to be making money. Map it down so you know what you are promoting, and if it is congruent with your overall brand. Maybe you have one income stream right now, maybe it’s just your network marketing business, see how you can expand. What can you add to that that it is congruent with your brand? Because if you’re going to be branding yourself as a health and wellness coach, promoting dog food is not gonna work. (Random example, I know).
Make sure you’re clear on what you’re promoting and what kind of income streams you have. Whether it’s network marketing, or you have your own coaching, maybe you have some kind of affiliate offers. Make sure everything is congruent and those income streams complement each other, because that’s the big part. Don’t be promoting multiple MLM opportunities, because that is confusing to YOU and to your audience as well.

Phenomenal content and EXCELLENT video as always Jelena. Step number #1 is the first thing for a reason.
With no vision and no personal development, the right strategy, tactics, and monetization techniques will all fall on deaf ears.
Thanks!

Wow Jelena, Powerful share,
Vision, what a word, I never ever stopped to think about it until I became an entrepreneur, and you break it down here in very simple efficient ways. Anyone follow this roadmap, they will create success.
It’s all about that vision. No doubt!
Great post. Start with your vision. Many people forget to do that and they don’t have a strong foundation for success. This is a great process.
Absolutely right Kenny!
